Grizzly Gulch Zone

Grizzly Gulch Trail

Fun XC trail that runs across the southern part of the park. Rolling hills and then runs alongside a creek. Gets a bit steep when it runs into Coit Road. Ride east to west as it’s a fun and relatively easy downhill ride.

Rodeo Pond

Wilson Peak

Top of the peak in the southern part of the park climbing out of Hunting Hollow entrance.

Spike Jones Trail

Runs from the top of Jim Connelly climb down to Coit Road. Probably my favorite descent at Henry Coe. It has a little bit of everything - the beginning is loose and steep but not crazy. Some windy singletrack and some fast sections through the forest. Very fun.

Jim Connelly Trail

Probably the easiest climb in the southern part of the park, though still long.

Lyman Wilson Ridge Trail

Steep trail up from Hunting Hollow road to Steer Ridge Road. I stupidly road this uphill on my regular bike and it was awful. Would have been much more fun on the way down, though some parts were pretty steep and would be challenging (for me at least).

Bowl Trail

Fun skinny singletrack over to Wilson Camp. Unfortunately it’s short and over too soon.
